Romantic Weekend AwayValentine TravelTraveling together is very romantic, whether it's a romantic weekend away, even a short day trip, or of course extended travel too. How could it not be romantic? You spend lots of time together removed from the distractions of ordinary life. Time to spend enjoying each other's company in a relaxed, or perhaps exciting depending on the trip you choose, environment! You can enjoy romantic meals together, watch beautiful sunsets, and see beautiful sites. Or if you prefer, go bungee jumping, skydiving, or extreme skiing together. It's up to you! You can set up a weekend or other trip by yourself and surprise them (make sure they reserve the dates ), or plan your trip together. For some couples, planning is a lot of the fun. For others, surprise is one of the key elements. I use Priceline to save money, especially for last minute trips. I save lots of money on hotel reservations, whether I choose the specific hotel or occasionally bid on a hotel, for example a $60 3 star hotel in Boston. They are also good for airfare, rental cars, and cruises too. A last minute trip can be very romantic! Romantic trips can also require more planning, for example longer trips, whether guided or on your own, as well as Romantic Cruises. I've had some extremely romantic day trips to nearby cities and beaches, as well as wonderfully romantic weekend getaways, sometimes to somewhere exciting, sometimes to just anywhere we could spend time together. My longest romantic trip was my honeymoon, over 3 months in New Zealand and Hong Kong. How about you? When did you last take a romantic trip of any length? Travel together is not only fun, it's also an investment in your relationship! When did you last spend significant time together? Just do it! You'll be glad you did, and Valentine's Day is the perfect time to take or even just start planning that romantic trip together. |
